Dr. Jurige has been practicing HIFU for over nine years and currently serves and the HIFU Program Director for the Louisville HIFU Center of Excellence where he has treated over 100 patients. He has also served as a proctor and medical director for International HIFU (a subsidiary of SonaCare Medical) and treated or been involved with nearly 400 patients outside of the U.S. in in Mexico, Bermuda and the Bahamas. Jurige has over 25 years of practicing urology and is a member of the American Board of Urology, American Urological Association and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of Louisville. His areas of special interest include female urology and incontinence management, microsurgical vasectomy reversal, erectile dysfunction and prostate cancer treatment. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville and completed his residency training there as well. He currently practices urology at First Urology in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Eifler is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Science degrees, Physics and Mathematics, from the University of Kentucky, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree with Honors in Research from Cornell University.
During medical school, he completed a yearlong research fellowship at the Surgery Branch of the National Institutes of Health, and completed urology residency at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Following residency, he completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center specializing in open and da Vinci robotic surgery for prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancer. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
Dr. Jackson graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1981. In 1986, he completed his residency at the University of Louisville in the departments of surgery and urology. He has been in private practice since that time until joining Allied Urology in June 2006.
Dr. Jackson is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and his special areas of interest are stone disease, urologic cancers and the treatment of incontinence, in addition to general urology.
Dr. Jackson has served as a clinician for the University of Louisville urology clinic, and has served as president of the Kentucky Urological Society. Dr. Jackson is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.
