Manufacturing Assembly Technician I

The Manufacturing Assembly Technician I manufactures and assembles transducers and other related products, and supports the testing of mechanical and electrical systems (primarily transducers).

  • Assembles high intensity focused ultrasound transducers and other assemblies
  • Performs tests on transducers and other assemblies
  • Assists staff with improvements related to the manufacturing and testing of transducers and assemblies
  • Supports manufacturing and testing of product improvements, design changes and new designs
  • Provides periodic and emergency service on manufacturing and testing equipment
  • Provides occasional support for other manufacturing/testing processes as needed
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • 1 year of experience in electronic assembly or other manufacturing assembly, required
  • Basic math skills, required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite/software
  • Proficiency with soldering small/delicate components
  • Hand-on testing experience with electrical test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience in the medical device industry, or other regulated industry, preferred • IPC experience, preferred
