Benefits for the Hospital
Invest in a Multimodal Platform
Sonasource® is a platform for delivering ablative ultrasound, maximizing opportunities for an institution or facility to amortize the cost of an energy-based system across multiple clinical conditions, target organ systems, and medical specialties.
The Sonasource platform has been designed and has received regulatory authorization to be used with multiple probes and ablation delivery devices. In addition to Sonablate® and Sonatherm® probes that are currently being used for prostate and kidney conditions, SonaCare Medical will be commercializing additional probes, exploring additional clinical applications for existing probes, and researching further uses for therapeutic ultrasound, both ablative and non-ablative in nature.
SonalinkTM is a remote viewing telecommunication application used to support Sonasource procedures. Sonalink “links” the procedure room and device being used to deliver a case with remote support personnel. Two-way audio and visual communication are provided between the physician and remote personnel, along with a screen mirroring application. Sonalink allows the complete procedure, ranging from device setup through procedure planning to the ablation itself, to be monitored remotely by experienced support personnel. These specialists can interact with the physician and OR staff in real-time to answer questions and provide ongoing training and guidance in the use of the device.
Capitalize on Your mpMRI Fusion Investment
SonafuseTM, a US/mpMRI Fusion Platform, takes an open architecture approach to integrating Sonablate planning software with commercially available mpMRI fusion biopsy platforms. Segmented and annotated DICOM radiology images are imported into Sonablate from resident fusion solutions and fused with live ultrasound images to enable targeted HIFU planning. Sonafuse currently supports the Invivo UroNav, Eigen ProFuse, and MIM Symphony systems, with additional integrations planned for the near future.
