Summary:
The Product Manager will serve as the Company’s liaison between Clinical, the customer, and Engineering. The Product Manager will translate feedback from clinical and the customer, including complaints, into product updates that will improve the functionality of the device.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive complex product development efforts from conception to manufacturing stability
Ensure Design Control processes are followed per relevant procedures
Ensure that the needs of all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) have been included in early stages of design and have been addressed prior to launch of product.
Facilitate and ensure that complex, high-value Business Unit projects are properly scoped, resourced, and communicated to minimize risk and deliver on-time and on-budget
Create and maintain project schedules
Develop and monitor projects budgets
Provide clear communication to the organization on project status, critical path, as well as potential areas of risk
Work closely with Manufacturing, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Engineering and Quality organizations to ensure input and representation in the development process
Contribute to product prioritization decisions by providing data and analysis from current and past projects
Build strong informal and formal communication channels to deliver information that is accurate and up to date to all stakeholders
Serve as marketing rep for the Company, connecting clinical operations and engineering
All other duties, as assigned
Qualifications/Specifications:
Minimum 3 years as Product manager in Medical Device or Healthcare industries
Experience bringing Medical Devices from inception/design to Market Delivery
Experience working with Engineers, Physicians, and FDA to commercialize new programs
Understanding of Strategic Marketing and creating campaigns and product support documents
Strong presentation and training skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Engineering
